SANCTUARY OF DAILY DEVOTION

Prabhupada's Bhajan Kutir

ABOUT THIS SITE

The Bhajan Kutir is the small, intimate room where Srila Prabhupada would perform his daily bhajan (devotional meditation) during his visits to Mayapur. It is a place of extraordinary personal significance — where the founder-acharya sat in the presence of his beloved deities and communed directly with the Divine.

Within these walls, Srila Prabhupada wrote portions of the Srimad Bhagavatam and Caitanya Caritamrta — the transcendental literature that would go on to transform millions of lives. The room has been preserved exactly as it was during his lifetime.

To enter the Bhajan Kutir is to step into the intimate personal space of a pure devotee. The spiritual atmosphere is palpable and immediate — a silence charged with transcendental presence.
